About Us
It is a privilege to welcome you to King's Cliffe Endowed Primary School. At the heart of our village and the communities we serve, we are a friendly and ambitious school where children are known as individuals, encouraged to be themselves and supported to achieve their very best.
We believe that primary school should provide children with far more than strong academic foundations. Through high expectations, strong relationships and a rich range of opportunities, we want our children to become confident, curious and compassionate young people who are ready for the next stage of their lives, with a love of learning that stays with them long beyond their time at KCEPS.
As Headteacher, I want our school to be a place where children are excited to come each morning: where they feel safe and valued, where learning is purposeful and engaging, and where they are encouraged to challenge themselves and discover what they are capable of achieving.
Our curriculum is ambitious for every child and extends well beyond the classroom. We want children to develop knowledge and skills that will open doors for them in the future, while providing the experiences, opportunities and enrichment that make primary school such a memorable part of childhood. Our extensive grounds and outdoor learning spaces provide further opportunities for children to explore, learn and develop beyond the classroom.
We are equally proud of the relationships that sit at the heart of our school. Education works best when children, families and school work together, and we value the important partnership we have with our parents and carers. As a village school serving Kings Cliffe and several surrounding communities, we also recognise the important place our school holds within the wider community.
Every child brings their own strengths, interests and experiences to our school. Our responsibility is to recognise those qualities, nurture their talents and provide the support and challenge they need to flourish. We want children to leave KCEPS proud of what they have achieved, confident in who they are and excited about what comes next.
Our modern, purpose-built school opened in 2017 and sits within approximately five acres of grounds. Alongside spacious classrooms, our children benefit from a dedicated library, hall and extensive outdoor areas that support learning, sport, play and enrichment.
Of course, a website can only give you a glimpse of what makes a school special. I encourage prospective families to come and visit us, meet our children and staff and experience Kings Cliffe Endowed Primary School for themselves.
I look forward to welcoming you.
Mr George Norman
