    Dear Parent(s) and Carer(s),

It's been such a lovely week at King's Cliffe!

On Monday afternoon, the whole school walked down to church for our Harvest Celebration rehearsal, which gave each class the opportunity to practise their poem, song or prayers in the setting and acoustics of the church. It was so worth the practice because our actual Harvest Celebration on Tuesday was just wonderful! Reverend Eddie came along to watch and was just as impressed. I hope you enjoyed the videos on Tapestry.

Then, on Wednesday, I was fortunate enough to accompany Mr Calpin and our Year 5/6 girls' football team to a tournament in Kettering. We won every group game without conceding a single goal and made it all the way to the semi-finals, eventually finishing fourth out of 12 teams! What impressed me most, though, wasn't the scores, but the incredible attitude and team spirit of the girls.

    Dear Parent(s) and Carer(s),

It’s been another busy and positive week at school, and we have lots to look forward to as we head into next week!

We’re particularly excited to come together to celebrate Harvest, an important opportunity to reflect on all that we have to be thankful for and to support others in our community. We’re also looking forward to the start of our competitive sporting calendar, with our children having plenty of opportunities to represent the school, work as a team and put their skills into action.

    Dear Parent(s) and Carer(s),

It’s been a fantastic week at King’s Cliffe, and can you believe we’re now closer to the October half- term break than we are to the start of term?

The highlight of my day today was listening to Year 5 during their brass lesson this morning, as well as presenting multiple Headteacher Awards for the fantastic work produced across the school.
