Handwriting
At King’s Cliffe Endowed Primary School, we support children to develop clear, fluent and legible handwriting as they progress through the school.
From Pre-School to Year 6, we use Letter-join to support the teaching and development of handwriting. Children develop their handwriting progressively, building the skills needed to form letters accurately and, as they become ready, to write with increasing fluency and consistency.
Parents and carers can support their children by encouraging them to practise their handwriting at home. Children can also access a range of Letter-join activities online.
