Reception 2027 Open Mornings

Come and discover King’s Cliffe Endowed Primary School

Choosing the right school for your child is an important decision - and there is no better way to get a feel for a school than to come and see it for yourself.

We are delighted to invite families with children due to start Reception in September 2027 to join us at one of our Open Mornings this autumn.

Tuesday 29th September 2026
Wednesday 21st October 2026
Thursday 19th November 2026

9:30–10:30am

No booking is required – simply come along.

What to expect

Please arrive through our main school reception, where you will be welcomed by Mr Norman, our Headteacher, before being shown around the school.

Our Open Mornings take place during the school day because we want prospective families to see King’s Cliffe as it really is: children learning, playing and enjoying school.

You will have the opportunity to visit our Early Years provision, see the learning environment in which your child could begin their school journey, and find out how we help our youngest children settle, grow in confidence and develop their independence.

You will also be shown around the wider school, giving you a chance to see what lies beyond Reception and get a sense of the education, experiences and opportunities children enjoy throughout their time at King’s Cliffe.

Growing a Love for Learning

At King’s Cliffe Endowed Primary School, our aim is simple: for every child to grow a love for learning and experience success.

We are a friendly and ambitious village school where children are known as individuals, encouraged to be themselves and supported to achieve their very best. We want learning to excite, inspire and challenge our children, helping them become confident, curious and compassionate young people.

That begins in our Early Years provision. Our approach provides a nurturing, engaging and inclusive environment in which children learn through play, curiosity and exploration, developing the confidence, independence and resilience that form strong foundations for the years ahead.

As children progress through King’s Cliffe, they experience a broad and ambitious curriculum enriched by trips, visitors, workshops, clubs, outdoor learning and residential experiences. Respect, Resilience and Reflection run through our curriculum, helping children develop not only knowledge and skills, but the attitudes and confidence they need for life.

But a website can only tell you so much about a school.

Come and meet us, walk through our classrooms and see King’s Cliffe for yourself.

We look forward to welcoming you.
