Office Administrator

 

King’s Cliffe Endowed Primary School is looking for a full time Office Administrator to work in our busy school (39 weeks a year – term time plus 5 training days).  We are located 15 minutes from Stamford, 15 minutes from Corby, 20 minutes from Peterborough and 30 minutes from Kettering. 

This is an exciting time to be joining our friendly and supportive school, where we strive to ensure all our children ‘grow a love for learning’ and experience success on a daily basis.  We are happy to consider applications from experienced administrators and those with limited experience.

Requirements:

We are looking for someone who:

  • Has excellent people and communication skills
  • Strong IT skills such as word, excel and publisher
  • Organised and able to work to deadlines
  • Adaptable and proactive
  • Professional telephone manner

Desirable:

  • Experience in a school setting
  • Experience of working with SIMS, ParentMail and other school processes
  • Basic finance administration

Description:

As Office Administrator your duties include:

  • Meeting and greeting parents, visitors and children
  • Responding to telephone calls and e-mails
  • Dealing with post – opening and distributing
  • Managing orders and deliveries
  • Processing class registers
  • Producing the weekly newsletter to parents
  • Organising parents’ evening appointments
  • Reviewing and updating school policies

  • Pay Scale: £18887 - £19650 (pro-rata)
